Scope
Site Visits, Biological Surveys, Social Surveys and Reporting.
Based on the preliminary information provided by the Client, the proposed plastic extraction and waste interception activities are expected to generate positive environmental and social benefits. By reducing the volume of plastic waste entering downstream river and estuary systems, the project will contribute to improved water quality and mitigate adverse impacts on surrounding ecosystems and local communities.
Nevertheless, as the activities have been conducted within an active river environment and nearby community areas, several environmental and social considerations remain important, including potential impacts on aquatic ecology, navigation, fishing activities, waste handling, community health, noise, air quality, and riverbed conditions.

Under this assignment, our scope of work will include Site Visits, Biological Surveys, Social Surveys, and Reporting to assess baseline environmental and social conditions, identify potential project-related impacts, and evaluate appropriate mitigation and management measures to support environmentally responsible and sustainable project implementation in line with applicable regulatory requirements and international good practices.
